About Christy Byrne Yates,
M.S. LEP #3277
Learning and education have been constant professional endeavors for Christy. She has been a school psychologist for over 12 years working in K-12 school districts and worked previously as a Special Education teacher as both a Special Day Class and Resource Support Program teacher.
Prior to K-12 education, Christy worked with people with disabilities in residential environments who were learning independent living skills. She also worked in Residential Life at a major university while in graduate school.
As the mother of two, now grown children, Christy also has the practical experience of raising children and being a parent in a public school environment.
In addition to her work as an LEP, Christy also has a passion for serving those in the Sandwich Generation—that time when parents are raising children while also caring for their own aging parents. Click here to learn more.
